The premiere of ‘No Time To Die’ will mark Daniel Craig’s farewell to the iconic James Bond. And although the film has not yet reached the sauces – delayed by the coronavirus pandemic – there is already speculation about who could take his place in the saga.
According to the specialized site The Vulcan Reporter, actor Tom Hardy would be in charge of putting himself in the shoes of the famous spy 007. However, the producers would not want to anticipate the news until the latest film is released.
Tom Hardy, 43, has a successful career, among which are films such as ‘Star Trek’, ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ and ‘Batman of the Night’. In addition, in 2011 he received a Bafta award and for his portrayal of John Fitzgerald in ‘The Revenant’, he had an Oscar nomination in 2016, in the category of best supporting actor.
According to the British press, the interpreter auditioned for the role in June and was selected. For his part, Daniel Craig will leave the character after five films such as Agent 007: ‘Casino Royale’ (2006), ‘Quantum of Solace’ (2008), ‘Skyfall’ (2012), ‘Specter’ (2015) and ‘ No Time To Die ‘(2020).
The latter, which corresponds to the 25th James Bond film, will finally be released in November.
